Welcome to the Kingston Concept store, I'm Harry and I've been working in bike stores since I was fifteen. I do like a good custom build and helping someone create their dream bike from start to finish is as much fun for me as it is the customer.
Currently I am riding an S-Works Tarmac SL4. I also have a 2011 Crux for all sorts of winter riding, and a Stumpy EVO FSR for some serious trail riding.
Aside from work and cycling, I enjoy reading, films and music, but nothing beats a good night out with my girlfriend and/or mates. All the usual things! I'm also currently enjoying driving, having recently bought my first car.
I’m Jonathan, also known as JJ, I am originally from an off-road background although I pride myself in being able share knowledge in all areas of cycling. I am also very handy mechanically.
In a world of 29ers I like to keep it old school and stay true to 26" wheels and prefer to ride hardtail. Despite my collection of off-road rigs, I have been bitten by the road cycling bug and now have a Tarmac in my line up. This will be the perfect tool for my planned epic ride from Lands End to John O'Groats next year.
In my free time I like to read as much sci-fi and fantasy as I can get my hands on. I once read a 450 page book in one day, if I'm not reading it I'm watching it, if none of the above then I'm playing it!
I'm Stuart, the Concept Store Kingston's commuting and touring enthusiast. With 25 years of retail and cycling experience, I look forward to welcoming you to our store.
I ride the 32 miles to and from Kingston Concept on my trusty Tricross Elite; it has never let me down. Posh bikes in my stable (shed) include a Hetchins Magnum Opus and some retro Italian road bikes. I am looking forward to the 2014 Specialized AWOL. My new adventure tourer, hopefully.
When not involved with my wonderful family (on Grandson No2) I tinker with classic bikes and make the odd excursion into the Surrey Hills.
Sales Advisor & Body Geometry Fit
I am Alex, the "skinny roadie" of the Kingston Concept Store sales team. My passion is on the road, putting in mile after mile, hour after hour, or just a fast (in my mind!) blast into the Surrey Hills or Richmond Park. There is a Specialized bike out there for everyone, and I enjoy helping people find that and getting them in to the sport, for fun and fitness.
I train and race on a 2014 Allez Race. I also have an alloy training bike, that I mainly use for commuting and winter riding.
I'm a keen runner too, but for a bit of feet up and relaxation, I enjoy the cinema or a good book. And I love coffee and cake- the staple diet of all good endurance athletes!
Hello, I'm Kingsley the stores mountain bike guru, I pride myself in having an in-depth knowledge into all things off-road, particularly downhill. I have also become a keen road cyclist so I'm just as happy discussing a custom built road bike as I am talking technical about suspension.
I have a Specialized Demo 7 for some serious off-road fun, on the road side the new Allez race is my weapon of choice.
I love rugby and not just watching it, I like to get stuck in to the odd game now and then. I enjoy tinkering with bikes and often help friends with theirs. I'm really into my cars and I am currently
learning to drive which is pretty exciting! When I am not doing all of the above I am with my little girl
and fiancé enjoying life.
Sales Advisor (Part-time)
Hi I'm Phil, I work part-time, mainly at the weekends. Would like to think I know a good amount about road and XC mountain biking in particular.
Specialized Allez Evo and Specialized Stumpjumper hardtail. I ride road-racers to commute and keep fit, as well as prepare myself for summertime MTB marathon events.
Monday to Friday I sell surgical instruments to hospitals! Cycling is my main passion amongst a whole host of other sports that I like to do. Finally, before you ask, no, I am not related to the great Francesco Moser.
Sales Advisor (Part-time)
I'm Jonathan, I work part time in the store at weekends and I'm here to help with the whole Specialized range, whether you're looking for a Hotwalk or an S-Works Tarmac!
I love doing a few laps of Richmond Park on my Roubaix, along with the occasional excursion out into the Surrey Hills. Off-road my greatest riding experience was a trip to Morzine in the French Alps a few years ago, and I'm looking forward to repeating the experience very soon. I'm currently saving the pennies for my first full-sus 29er, most likely a Stumpjumper FSR Comp Evo.
Monday to Friday I work in the IT industry, so I'm always busy! When I'm not working or riding I enjoy real ales, computer games, and going out for dinner with my girlfriend and/or mates.
