When you come in to collect your Ruby 2017 Test bike, we'll be there to make sure the bike is set-up correctly, show you the new features and answer any questions you have.
Our Test Bikes are designed to offer all levels of riders the chance to test a bike. You don't have to be a World Champion or even a regular rider to have a go. All you need is some enthusiasm, be over the age of 18 and bring some identification (your passport) and a Credit Card for the fully refundable deposit. That's right, all our test rides are Free!

Tired of rough roads wearing you out? So are we, and that's why made the Ruby Expert. The frame is among the lightest that we've ever made, and it's been constructed from our superlative FACT 10r carbon fibre. Its stiffness levels are also off the charts, and compared to the SL4 iteration of yesteryear, you'll experience a whole new, faster, and more efficient geometry. Through some engineering sorcery, however, we've managed to keep the same fit, feel, and position that we've all come to love from the SL4's Women's Endurance Geometry. Of course, you're probably thinking, "get on to the suspension thing up front." We call it Future Shock, and essentially, it's a piston in the head tube with 20mm of travel. We developed this technology in partnership with McLaren Applied Technologies, and the result of this are a host of drastic performance improvements, namely in the vertical compliance department. Without giving a physics lecture, we found that focusing on vertical compliance, instead of fork splay, meant that we could improve smoothness, speed, and comfort in one fell swoop. And of all the bikes that we've tested with our Rolling Efficiency Model, the new Ruby outperforms anything on the market. Lastly, we spec'd it with awesome components, like Shimano Ultegra 6800 shifting, hydraulic disc brakes, and a women's-specific saddle.

Once you've booked your test ride with us, we'll tune the suspension to suit your riding style, size and weight, so you get the best riding experience possible. If you have your own preferred pedals or saddles then bring them along and we'll fit them for you.
On the day
* Both the debit or credit card and the photo identification will be retained by the store whilst the test ride takes place.
Once the above is complete you are free to take your bike away to test.
