Men's S-Works Diverge Frameset

The S-Works Diverge is the bike that will take you from the road to the trail without compromising performance on either terrain. It is not a cyclocross bike optimised for use on the road, or a road bike made adventure-ready. The Diverge takes the best of both worlds and redefines what is possible for a drop-bar adventure bike.

The completely redesigned frame takes cues from the bar-raising Roubaix, not only minimising weight by virtue of the FACT Carbon 11r frame (sub-900g), but increasing tyre clearance in response to customer feedback. The new frame will take tyres of up to 700x42mm, leaving plenty of room for the build-up of mud that goes hand in hand with riding the gnarliest trails. What's more, we've moved away from the traditional cyclocross geometry of past models and built the S-Works Diverge around our never-before-seen Open Road Geometry. Far from just throwing around another crafty marketing term, this new geometry features a bottom bracket which is over half a centimetre lower than before, a slacked-out head tube, short chain stays and a shorter wheelbase. This makes the bike more precise and predictable in handling on all terrains as well as improving its agility on technical trails. The S-Works Diverge is also equipped with a new version of the Future Shock, technology originally found on the Roubaix, only this time specifically-designed for use off the beaten track where the Diverge belongs. This version incorporates a progressive spring which makes for stiffer suspension better suited for the more substantial bumps to be expected off road. Unlike traditional suspension, there's no need to worry about compromising handling or steering with Future Shock.

Add to that the mounts for three water bottles, racks and fenders, and our versatile Road SWAT (storage) facility, and you've got an exciting frame that is perfectly suited to multiple activities from commuting to bike packing.
