Turbo Como 2.0 Low-Entry 650b

The Turbo Como 2.0 Low-Entry 650b was created to inspire you. The bike's defining feature comes in the form of an electric motor that assists you as you pedal giving you loads more bang for every buck (or pedal stroke), meaning you can roam further afield and get there faster. The Turbo 1.2 motor has been completely redesigned and integrated perfectly into the frame and it now boasts a top speed of 20mph. The Como 2.0 is simply the fastest, smoothest riding urban e-bike you've ever set eyes on.

We optimised the belt-driven RX Street Tune system for urban use, making it smoother and quieter, while also ensuring there are none of the annoying vibrations you find on some e-bike motors. The tech reacts to the amount of force you put through the pedals, so the more power you generate, the more the motor pushes too. Accelerating from a standstill at traffic lights suddenly got so much easier.

The Turbo UI-460 battery is subtly and seamlessly integrated into the frame. It's lockable (to prevent it being tampered with or stolen when left locked up), but it's easily taken out for simplified charging. The battery gives the Turbo Como some extra "oomph," with the capacity to store plenty of juice to help you cruise down the bike path, fetch the shopping, or even to try out that new caf across town you've been meaning to visit.

Working with the German powerhouse, BLOKS, we also developed a custom 2.2-inch computer. This touchscreen smart computer is able to connect via Bluetooth to Specialized's own Mission Control App, giving you full control of the Turbo technology. The app allows you to tune the motor to your personal preferences, dialling up the amount of help' it gives you, or turning things down if you need to save power. You can flick through all the relevant data screens via the custom remote, without ever moving your hands from the bars.

For the build, you'll find everything you need to get out and enjoy the sunshine comfortably and worry-free. Along these lines, it has powerful Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, reliable 9-speed Shimano shifting and a comfortable saddle.

Built around our Ground Control Geometry, the Como makes it easier to put your foot down when not in motion, as well as get in and out of the saddle. The 650b wheels, typically found on mountain bikes, are paired with beefed-up 2.3-inch tyres, allowing you to roll over potholes, kerbs and cracks in the road with complete ease. Tektro hydraulic disc brakes add the reassuringly powerful stopping power, with a comfortable saddle and Shimano nine-speed shifting completing what is an incredibly fun package.
