The wider shoulder knobs provide better support under hard cornering, and the biting edges of these knobs have been moved further inside. Additionally, the centre blocks have been staggered and spaced better, resulting in a smoother transition when leaning the bike over. Specialized's proprietary GRIPTON® compound improves high frequency damping, enhancing the tyre's grip on both small bumps and rough terrain. The low frequencies of the rolling tyre deflections pass through unfiltered, allowing for maximum speed with no energy absorbed.
