Released in the autumn of 2019, it didn’t take long for the 2020 Specialized Enduro range to make a stir with customers and press alike. We’ve ripped up the rule book for the 2020 range, started from scratch and created a special selection of bikes ready to tackle any adventure or all-day event. More travel, redesigned suspension, carbon frames and our style-specific sizing means we’ve revolutionised the classic enduro bike to create a range that is bigger and better than ever before.
The all new design means that the whole range is set up on 29er wheels with robust tyres and 170mm of travel, meaning big hits can be brushed off with ease. We’ve redesigned everything from the frame down to the smallest component to create a bike that climbs and pedals better and more efficiently than most reviewers and customers expect from an enduro bike.
The carbon frame makes for a light but stiff frame and working in unison with a rear axle designed for less horizontal movement, makes for a super-fast bike that carries its momentum over the tricky stuff. A lower rear shock link and a redesigned top tube makes for increased pedalling efficiency compared to the 2019 model and will improve your confidence when trail gets truly gnarly.
2020 S-Works Enduro
The S-Works Enduro is the gold standard of our 2020 Enduro range, equipped with tons of little tweaks and details to make it our most efficient bike. The Fox Float Factory 36 fork can be tuned on the go and coupled with 170 millimetres of travel and the RockShox’s Reverb AXS dropper post, makes for a durable, smooth ride – the ultimate ride for long distance events.
2020 Enduro Expert
The Expert also boasts 170 millimetres of travel and like the whole range, has excellent control over the roughest of terrains. Equipped with a Fox Float Performance 36 fork, X-Fusion Manic dropper post and SRAM Code RSC disc brakes, this model gives you all the manoeuvrability and reliability you need in an enduro bike.
2020 Enduro Elite
With all the perks of the S-Works and Expert in terms of travel and handling, the Elite is the range’s cheaper performance alternative. Still with a threaded bottom bracket and internal cable routing, the Elite offers a stouter package thanks to a RockShox Lyrik Select Plus fork and SRAM Code R disc brakes. The reliability and performance of the other models are still there.
2020 Enduro Comp
For economy, the Enduro Comp is pound for pound your best bet. You still get the same full-carbon frame as the Expert and Elite and it comes with quality components such as the RockShox Lyrik Select fork and SRAM Code R brakes for maximum performance. With this great bike coming in at great value without a compromise on performance, it’s easy to see why there’s such love for the 2020 Enduro.
