As the dark, winter nights set in, the shops chime with carols and the kids pen their wish lists, it can only mean one thing – Christmas is coming. As the little ones buzz with excitement, adults are often left thinking “how the hell are we going to get all this shopping done?”

Learning to ride
Our new model of kid’s bike, the Hotwalk, has dropped just in time for Christmas – a balance bike designed for fewer crashes and a whole load more smiles. The Hotwalk makes learning to ride simple. With no pedals or gears to work out, your toddler can scoot merrily away with their feet, learning how to balance themselves on two wheels.
The frame is constructed from a durable A1 Premium Aluminium and the wheels from a tough alloy material, both ensuring that the bike can take a few knocks before bouncing straight back up again. Our Riprock Coaster bikes are also perfect for beginner bikers. With pedals, brakes and a single gear, these bikes will introduce your child to the most fundamental parts of a bike, getting them ready for a life on two wheels.
Like the Hotwalk, the Riprock Coaster is constructed from durable aluminium. A steel coaster brake is not only powerful and reliable, but it’s also well-suited for pulling off some awesome skids. This balance bike is available in multiple colourways and two different sizes – the 12 and 16.
Taking off the training wheels
Once your child has taken to a life on two wheels, it’s about time to get them a proper bike, one with brakes, gears, pedals and all the other accessories that the bicycles of their racing heroes have. For those kids yearning for a life on the trail, hungry for high speed and a whole load of mud, then the Hotrock is the perfect starter bike. It’s a fully-fledged trail shredder, all packed into a small kid’s bike. With bouncy suspension in the front, a wide range of gears and super responsive disc brakes, the Hotrock offers all the necessary components to really conquer off-road terrain. Like our other kid’s bikes, the Hotrock is constructed from super tough aluminium making it the perfect choice for the rough and tumble nature of trail riding.
Suited and booted
Before you let your little tykes speed away on their new bicycles, it’s super important that you make sure they’re sporting all the right safety gear. Helmets are a must, whatever kind of riding you’re doing.
The Shuffle is a popular choice for all age groups and can be the perfect helmet for many youngsters throughout their early cycling careers. With an integrated LED tail light, the Shuffle not only protects your child’s head, but it also ensures that they’re seen should the weather turn gloomy.
The Mio is our smaller helmet, aimed specifically at toddlers and the smallest of riders. It’s incredibly light and comes in all manner of awesome designs, ensuring your child learns that helmets are in fact, super cool. A magnetic buckle improves comfort, as well as giving your little’un the facility to fasten their own helmet strap, encouraging those first steps – or pedal strokes – towards independence.
