Keep moving forward
“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” – Albert Einstein
At Specialized we’re always striving to be the best we can, moving forward every day, and since we started designing bicycles in 1974 we’ve had this little gem of a quote from Herr Einstein in the back of our minds. From super-slick road bikes, tough mountain bikes, rugged kids’ bikes, right through to the latest in e-bike technology – 45 years on we’re still driven to create the best bikes we can for you, for your life and your adventures. Our 2020 range of bikes might just be our best line up yet.
Join the revolution
In our ever busier and cluttered lives, one commodity we all want more of is time. Time to relax, to do the things we want to do and spend it with the people we love. Wasting it sat in traffic jams or waiting for delayed trains is annoying, to say the least. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. An e-bike, powered by a rechargeable battery, makes commuting and nipping around the city child’s play, allowing you to travel serenely past the time-wasters and spend more of your day doing what you want to do.
Our e-bikes are rugged enough to tackle canal towpaths and wooded trails. They come equipped with everything you need for the ride, with mudguards to keep rain spray away and luggage racks for carrying groceries or a change of clothes for the office. With simple-to-use gears, sturdy tyres, strong brakes and a comfortable ride, choosing an e-bike is as easy as riding a bike. And the time you save, not to mention the money (there’s no tax, no MOT, no renewing your bus pass here), is yours to do with what you will.
The road is long
Looking forward is what we do. Finding new horizons, taking on new challenges and exploring further than ever. Our road bikes are designed for just that – adventure. It doesn’t matter whether that is a 10-mile trip to the next town or a 100-mile sportive in a new part of the country, a Specialized road bike gives you all you need to jump right in.
We’ve been making the Allez for over 35 years, endlessly refining it so that it’s now the ultimate aluminium road bike for every type of riding, from long-distance touring to the heady world of full gas, head down racing. Whether you're just getting into road cycling, looking into commuting by bike, or simply looking for a shiny new whip with an ass-kicking paint job, the Allez is just as performance-packed as it is versatile.
The bigger brothers to the Allez, our Tarmac, Roubaix and Venge models are world-beating race machines, seriously capable bikes regularly taking the top spot at the toughest races on the planet. Ridden by the likes of Italian sprint god Elia Viviani, triple world champ Peter Sagan and newly crowned French king Julian Alaphilippe, these bikes are the most capable road machines we’ve ever built. If you want to fly, these bikes give you the wings to do it.
A new kind of hero
Over the past few years, we’ve seen the emergence of a homegrown cycling superstar, someone to challenge the exciting talent coming out of France and Belgium. Yorkshire lad Tom Pidcock has taken the cyclocross world by storm over the past few years, riding his Crux to glory in National, European and World U23 races. The Crux is a purebred racing steed that is fast, confident, lightweight and rides like no other 'cross bike out there.
For Tom and a whole bunch of others folks, the fun starts when the tarmac ends. The Diverge is for those guys, the ones who ask, “Where does this track go?”, always up for a good time whether that’s on potholed lanes, farm tracks or gravel tracks.
Hit those trails. Hard.
In the UK we have some of the best mountain biking on the planet and a Specialized mountain bike gives you the keys to explore as far as your imagination can take you. With our world-beating Epic, the trail-capable Chisel, the brilliant Rockhopper, the Enduro and super-versatile Stumpjumper there’s nothing to stop you. As hard as you want to rage, these bikes are designed to go there with you.
Always look forward – that’s our motto, whether that’s riding a bike or designing one. Come down to one of our Concept Stores and see for yourself what your future holds.
