For the Tarmac Expert SL5 with Dura-Ace, we really squeezed as much performance and value out of the design process as we could and then squeezed just a little bit more.
Our proprietary Rider-First Engineered design means we were able to tune the frame with specific tubes and carbon layups relevant to frame size, so each and every bike across the whole Tarmac family performs just as we intended, with that famous killer balance between responsiveness, rigidity and weight.
It's all put together using our top end FACT 10r carbon fibre, with a geometry identical to the Grand Tour-winning Tarmacs raced by some of the greats.
Finishing up the value-packed SL5 Expert, we used a full Shimano Dura-Ace 9100 groupset and a hatful of Body Geometry components, giving you all the comfort you need so you can reach the heights of performance. We then put it on a set of Roval SLX 24 rims laced to DT Swiss Hubs. It's everything you need to make that step up to the next racing category and bag more than a few personal bests on the way.
