Well, now the components once exclusive to World Series pros are available to all in the 2018 Stumpjumper Coil Carbon 29/6Fattie. The exceptional pedalling and trail-munching suspension the coil shock delivers is now yours for the taking.
The Stumpjumper Coil Carbon's frame is made from our top-end FACT 11m carbon making it fantastically lightweight without compromising stiffness or strength. Thanks to a revolutionary layup process, we've equipped the frame with our proprietary SWAT Door in the down tube. This handy little compartment is big enough to stow a spare tube, multi-tool and CO2 pump without sacrificing the frame's integrity or making any annoying noises as you smash it over major obstacles.
The geometry has been optimised for aggressive trail riding so it includes a low-slung bottom bracket, roomy top tube, alarmingly short chainstays and a slacked out front end. Then we come to the suspension setup. At the back is the hlins twin tube coil shock, which not only dampens the gnarliest trails, but also lends the bike immensely responsive handling and fantastic pedalling efficiency. Finally, the Stumpy's geometry and design is such that you will be able to swap between 29-inch wheels and 6Fattie (not included), so you can tailor your ride to the conditions you face.
As for the component package, the Stumpjumper Coil is wrapped in SRAM's great GX one-by shifting with SRAM Guide R brakes. Suspension is provided by hlins at the front and rear, and the bike is finished with hand-built Roval Traverse carbon wheels. This bike is ready for anything.
