The integrated Specialized 1.2 motor has had a complete redesign and coupled with the Rx Street Tune, it is perfectly suited to the urban environment. The latter takes the power output and tailors it to the terrain in response to the pressure you put through the pedals. In short, the more you put in, the more assistance you get out. You'll be accelerating away from traffic lights, smoothly and silently in no time.

The battery which is installed neatly into the frame, is our custom 504Wh battery designed specifically for the Vado 4.0 NB. Easily removable and simple to charge, the battery life varies depending on the setting you put it on. For a person who brings the total rider and bike weight up to 220 pounds on relatively flat terrain and in little or no wind, the battery will last for 105 miles in Economy mode, 45 miles in Sport and 30 in Turbo. This should mean that topping out at 20mph, you will have more than enough power to take you to work and back with a detour to your favourite cafe on the way.

To optimise rider efficiency and upgrade the intuitive nature of the Turbo Vado 4.0 NB, we worked with German powerhouse, BLOKS, to create a custom 2.2-inch touchscreen computer. Not only does it connect to our Turbo Vado Mission Control App via Bluetooth, giving you full control over the pedal-assist modes and keeling track of diagnostics, etc. but it also comes packed with all the usual features you'd expect from a bike computer, including navigation, tracking and ride history. What's more, you won't even have to take your hands from the bars to use the device as we've installed a nifty little custom remote allowing you to slide from screen to screen with the flick of a thumb.

The cherry on top of this innovative and intuitive machine, is the hassle-free and reliable spec. The Turbo Vado 4.0 is equipped with Shimano 11-speed components, powerful hydraulic disc brakes and mounts for racks and fenders.
