There's not much more exhilarating than descending 1,000 feet of rocky and technical trail. Unfortunately, climbing back up after each run provides an altogether different sensation, starting with a deep pain in the quads. There's nothing wrong with a nice workout, but there's no need for every adrenaline rush to be followed by a leg-zapping uphill trudge. That's where the Turbo Kenevo Expert 6Fattie eBike comes in, with a handy pedal-assist feature that makes heading back to the top an entirely more appealing prospect. Don't think for a minute though that the inclusion of a motor somehow limits the Turbo Kenevo's trail-riding chops, it still bears all the hallmarks of an awesome Specialized trail bike. A spacious top tube, low bottom bracket and ultra-short chainstays make for nimble handling, fantastic control and a bike that feels glued to the trail. There's also 180 millimetres of front and rear travel, ensuring the Turbo Kenevo is ready to tackle any obstacle it encounters on the way back down the mountain. Built into the M5 Aluminium frame is our brand new Turbo 1.3 motor and integrated battery, allowing the 2018 Turbo Kenevo to provide 15% more power than our previous model. The motor features our exclusive Rx Trail Tune, which is responsible for smoothly and quietly providing that extra power to the pedals. The output is fully adjustable, which means power can be managed and conserved depending on the difficulty of your climb and how much help you feel you need. We're also proud to say the motor in the Turbo Kenevo is the only one to feature instant pedal engagement and consistent torque across the entire cadence range. The battery has a long lifespan and is fully integrated within the down tube, in order to make charging quick and easy. It's suitable for use on long and difficult trails and positioned for optimal weight distribution. Really boosting the appeal for the tech geeks among you, there's also our Mission Control App providing full control of the Turbo technology from the saddle, as well as the Trail Display packed with vital metrics and there's the Trail Remote, which lets you switch easily from one mode to another without taking your hands off the bars. It also features a power meter that shows you how many watts you're pushing vs what the motor is putting out. As for the build spec, the Turbo Kenevo FSR 6Fattie is packed with quality componentry. There's an hlins TTX22M coil shock, a RockShox Lyrik fork with 180mm of travel and SRAM's GX one-by groupset. The wheels are hand-built Rovals and the bike features our 6Fattie wheel system designed to decrease deflection and make your ride more enjoyable through significantly increased traction and floatation.
- The frame, with its 180mm of travel, is constructed from our M5 Premium Aluminum, which is equal parts, strong, lightweight, and incredibly responsive. The design of the frame itself revolves around our Trail 6Fattie Geometry that includes all of our trail hallmarks, like a low-slung bottom bracket, roomy top tube, and ultra-short chainstays. Cable routing is all internal, including that of the Command Post IR, while the battery is fully integrated in the down tube and the motor is secured by a forged brace mount.
- The custom Specialized 1.3 Rx Trail-tuned motor is built for the Kenevo and features a 15% power increase and a significant efficiency increase compared to the Specialized 1.2 motor. This successfully places it at the top of e-bike motor technology. It has many other features that no other e-bike can touch, like instant engagement, fantastic heat management, a double freewheel design that disengages the gear box when you hit top speed, and silent, smooth, and consistent output—even at max power.
- The Specialized M1-504 battery features an integrated Trail Display and ANT+/Bluetooth® module with Mission Control App connectivity. It houses 504Wh of trail-taming juice, and is neatly integrated into the down tube.
Please note that this bike does not come with pedals.

Finally got my hands on a small Kenevo as they seem as rare as hens teeth.
Very happy with the bike on my first install rides , now looking forward to some proper rides.
I had a Giant Full E +1 before and when it wasn't in my LBS being fixed it seemed ok , but the Kenevo is so much better in all aspects , ride position, handling , better suspension and most important , looks.
Here's hoping it's more reliable than the Giant as they are not cheep 😵.
