Your eyes are not deceiving you, we really have added what you've all been waiting for to the Allez Sprint disc brakes. No matter what your riding style is, whether you're planning to rag the Allez around the local crit, or cruise the back lanes on your weekend ride, disc brakes will make any riding experience better. With increased stopping power and more modulation, you're left with a bike that inspires supreme confidence and control in its rider. The Allez was already pretty special. The Allez Sprint Comp Disc has raised the bar.

Our unique D'Aluisio Smartweld Technology lies at the heart of the Allez Sprint, making the bike a lot more compliant and stiff at the same time by strategically placing more welding material where it's needed and removing where it's not. This allowed us to solve those limitations associated with conventional aluminium manufacturing and create a bike that was incredibly stiff, yet still compliant and nimble in its handling. Not only is this the stiffest alloy bike we've made, it's the stiffest alloy bike we've ever tested from any manufacturer.

The same supreme ride feel of the Allez Sprint is ensured across the wide range of sizes by drawing on the Rider-First Engineered technology from our top-end road bike models. We've also taken design cues from our Tarmacs in the aerodynamics department, creating similarly aero hydroformed tube shapes that are optimised to whistle through the strongest of winds, as well as provide the bike with a load of built-in compliance.

Finally, to make the frame that wee bit stiffer we shortened the chain stays to create a more compact and rigid rear triangle. A smaller and stiffer rear triangle guarantees that every single watt of power you produce is transferred onto the road.

Shimano 105, complete with hydraulic disc brakes, takes care of the shifting and braking, while durable DT R470 Disc alloy wheels get the bike rolling. An extremely comfortable Body Geometry Toup saddle adds a nice touch to this machine that is busy redefining the potential of alloy bikes.
