Turbo Como 4.0 Low-Entry
£2300.00
I bet you thought we'd never use the words stylish' and fun' to describe an e-bikes and really, at the beginning there, neither did we. That was until the Turbo Como 4.0 Low-Entry burst onto the scene of course the sleek, battery-powered urban cruiser is absolute pleasure to ride round the bustling city streets and looks great while doing it. The Como's Turbo 1.2E motor has been completely redesigned to fit seamlessly within the frame. The motor is belt driven, making it even smoother, quieter and free of any irksome vibrations, perfect for city centre riding. Our proprietary Rx Street Tune takes the power of this belt-driven motor and optimises the output by matching the amount of force you apply to the pedals. Quite simply, the motor puts out just as much as you do, making accelerations from a standing start super speedy and painless. Driving the motor is our custom battery, the Specialized U1-460. We've managed to fit it seamlessly into the frame, as well as make it lockable and easily accessible for charging and rapid maintenance. This battery has a whole load of oomph' and will have you flying down to the shops or across town for a meeting in record time. Every e-bike needs a flashy computer and the Como is no exception. Along with German tech giant, BLOKS, we've designed a custom 2.2-inch computer that sits flush right on the handlebars, displaying everything from navigation, tracking and diagnostics, to ride history. With the addition of a handlebar remote, you're able to flick through these screens without ever having to take your hands from where they need to be to keep the bike steady. Stopping in the city centre happens fairly often, so to make the Como stable and able to deal with frequent paused' periods, we've added our unique Ground Control Geometry. Planting your standing foot is made a lot easier, as is climbing off, and back onto the bike. To top off the Como's unique, city-cruising build, we've added a host of worry-free components to keep you pedalling away come sun or rain. Shimano 9-speed drivetrain, powerful hydraulic disc brakes, plus racks and fenders will give you peace of mind as you knock one to-do off the list after another.
- An E5 Low-Entry aluminium frame keeps the Como lightweight, while also providing space to seamlessly integrate the battery and motor. It’s also blessed with our unique Ground Control Geometry to inspire its rider with even more confidence.
- The Turbo 1.2E motor is fully integrated with the frame and packs a punch, all while keeping the output smooth, silent and virtually vibration free. An Rx Street Tune optimises the Como for city riding, meaning the more power you place on the pedals, the more power the motor will dish out in return.
- A 460 Wh battery also sits flush in the frame and is easily removed for quick charging. The battery communicates with the BLOKS display up top, informing the riders of all the necessary vitals, as well as allowing them to switch between several power assist modes.
