Nobody wants to ride rough, bumpy tired old roads. It's something we all get put off by, however, the Roubaix with hydraulic disk brakes will soon make you forget those thoughts and make you start looking for those cracked and patchy roads. Made form FACT 10r carbon fibre the frame is is stiffer than our charts have ever seen, lighter than previous models and looking at the numbers from years past you'll definitely notice a difference in speed and efficiency. Plus using our vast knowledge from the RETUL database we were able to keep the same comfort and feel of the much-loved SL4, plus keeping it a consistent fit across the board. Up front is the Future Shock, it's our bar-raising new technology, developed hand-in-hand with McLaren Applied Technologies with the aim of keeping efficiency and handling consistent, no matter how rough the road is. What we came up with was a piston or spring in the head tube, offering up to 20mm of travel, addressing performance in vertical compliance rather than working with traditional suspension systems. In the past, fork splay would be the go-to method of smoothing out rough surfaces, but that means stretching the wheelbase which loosens up the handling and compromises pace and efficiency. By focussing on vertical compliance and sending road feedback up through the headtube, the bike essentially stays the same shape, maintaining its exquisite handling and ensuring that the Roubaix outperforms any of its competitors. This Roubaix comes with Tiagra 11 - speed shifting and RS hydraulic disc brakes. Keeping you rolling smoothly are DT R470 wheels wrapped in Our brilliant Turbo Pro 28mm Tyres.
- Shimano's RS505 hydraulic disc brakes deliver plenty of stopping power abd the superior modulation that hydraulic disc brakes are known for.
- With Shimano Tiagra taking the reins on shifting, you'll experience crisp shifts for many miles to come.
- Consistent throughout the size-range with our Rider-First Engineered™ construction.
Please note that this bike does not come with pedals.

I have had this exact model for over a year now done 6000 miles or more on it, including 100 mile race and an Ironman , it has not missed a beat I have not one single issue with it . I have only cleaned it and oiled the chain noting more , its been taken abroad 2 twice in bits , pops together easy enough , gears super smooth , brakes are exceptional ( they have saved me many times on the way to work ) I cant rate this bike any higher if i could give it 6 stars would.
