Escape on gravel roads or race with the versatile Specialized Diverge. With a premium alloy frame, Future Shock 1.5, and SRAM 12-speed Apex groupset, it's the ultimate adventure bike for road, dirt, and gravel.

Whether you're looking to escape on quiet gravel backroads, line up at your first gravel race, or simply want the most versatile bike for both road and dirt, the new Diverge is the bike to do it all. It’s the fastest, most capable— and perhaps the most fun— alloy gravel bike we've ever built. With a ride that’s responsive and lively under power but stable and confidence-inspiring on rough terrain, the Diverge delivers unmatched performance. Featuring Future Shock 1.5, all-new gravel geometry, and class-leading tire clearance, the Diverge reflects everything we’ve learned from over 40 years of riding road, gravel, and dirt. It’s an entirely new chapter in the gravel bike category— a bike that lets you dream up new adventures. The ultimate getaway vehicle.

Starting with a premium E5 alloy frame and a full carbon FACT fork, the Diverge Comp E5 is built to take on any surface with confidence and comfort. The Future Shock 1.5 smooths out rough roads and gravel, while SRAM’s all-new 12-speed Apex group offers crisp, precise shifting across varied terrain. Axis Elite alloy wheels paired with Pathfinder Pro 42mm tires provide unmatched versatility, from smooth pavement to loose gravel.

Light, Stiff, and Durable

The E5 aluminium frame offers the perfect balance of stiffness, lightness, and durability. Paired with the carbon fork, the Diverge Comp E5 is a lively, fast, and versatile bike that’s ready to take on whatever the trail throws at you.

Ready for Adventure

With ample rack mounts on the fork and top tube, the Diverge E5 is ready to carry all your gear, whether you're out for a quick ride or a multi-day adventure.

Tire Clearance to Go Anywhere

The Diverge offers an impressive 47mm tire clearance with 700c wheels and 2.1” clearance with 650b wheels, unlocking even more capability for gravel and dirt riding. Thanks to a unique machined alloy beam on the drive-side chainstay, we’ve achieved this massive clearance without the fragility of a dropped chainstay or increased chainstay length.

The Diverge Comp E5 isn’t just a gravel bike; it’s an invitation to explore new roads, new trails, and new experiences. It’s the ultimate ride for wherever the journey takes you.

does the frame have mudguard mounts? does the frame have rack mount points? "Industry-leading tyre clearance for unbeatable versatility" what's the max tyre clearance? I'm 170cm tall, what size do you recommend? All the bikes I have ridden have been 52cm however I always have to stick a 130mm stem and like a low and aggressive position so wondering if a 54cm is more suitable. I know people of similar height who ride a 54cm.

Hey Sandy,

Hope all is well. The Diverge Comp E5 has a max clearance of 47mm with a 700c wheel and 2.1” with a 650b wheel. It is equipped with mudguard mounts, most brands might need some slight modification to fit perfectly on the bike (mainly a spacer near the BB). A rear rack can be fitted, the standard top mounting points are gone, instead the top of the rack fits to the seat clamp provided with the bike (S194700002).

In regards to frame size, stem wise there isn't a huge difference between a 52cm and 54cm (10mm). I would use the standover height (722mm on 52cm or 738mm on 54cm) as an ideal sign to pick the right bike. I used to ride 54cm on Trek bikes but found 52cm to be more ideal on the Diverge range. I included a geometry breakdown below of the two sizes which might help visualise them:

I hope this is of help, but do let me know if you need more information on the bike!
Kind regards,
Biagio
