Do you feel like us, in all the growth in full-suspension XC bikes that hardtails started to become a bit stale and repetitive We thought we'd shake the market with some revolutionary design - introducing our Epic Hardtail Expert Carbon World Cup.
This is one of the lightest frames we've ever made, tapping the scales to just around 1175g. We've done this by building an entire frame from our FACT 10m carbon fibre construction and borrowing a few tips from our Road bikes. We've taken the Rider-First Engineered concept from the Tarmac range.
Additionally, the geometry has been adapted for more speed and stability by slacking-out the head tube angle, increasing the top tube and correcting the seat tube angle. These adjustments results in a modern planted feeling and ridiculous speed capabilities, with the addition of internal split-housing cable routing.
As for the build, the Epic HT Expert Carbon WC has a custom RockShox SID 29 with Brain fork that provides 90/100mm of efficient travel. Additionally, it's got SRAM X1 shifting for reliable precision and our fast rolling, hand-built, Roval Control wheels.
