Driven by our relentless pursuit of better airflow, we've eliminated traditional air-blocking foam “bridges” from the centre of the helmet, creating thru-air channels that increase ventilation surface area by 24.5% compared to the previous model, the S-Works Prevail II Vent. This results in the most ventilation area we've ever achieved in a helmet, keeping you cool no matter how tough the ride.
In terms of impact protection, the S-Works Prevail 3 breaks new ground. While most helmets rely solely on foam (EPS) for energy management, we've gone beyond foam. The innovative AirCage technology features woven aramid “cables” that span the helmet, anchored to carbon fibre side panels. When impacted, this suspension bridge system distributes forces across the helmet, enhancing protection while keeping the weight low.
The Occipital Base Adjustment system allows for a personalised fit by adapting to your individual head shape, and it includes an adjustable angle for better compatibility with glasses. The updated Tri-Fix web system uses thinner 10mm webbing to reduce strap noise and increase comfort. Plus, the Mindset micro-dial fit system has been optimised for improved grip, ease of adjustment, and on-the-go fit.
