The Specialized Edition Allez Sprint X1 is one of the most advanced alloy road bikes we've ever made designed with the singular focus of being the ultimate crit-racing weapon.
At the heart of the Specialized Edition Allez Sprint X1 is DSW Sprint Technology which strategically places more welding material where it's needed resulting in an aluminium bike that is more compliant and much stiffer. How stiff? It's the stiffest alloy bike we've ever tested. Drawing inspiration from the Rider-First Engineered Tarmac the Specialized Edition Allez Sprint X1 has unique down tube bottom bracket shell head tube and fork sizes for corresponding frame sizes ensuring uniformed performance across the entire size run.
Making sure every single watt you produce gets transferred to the road the Specialized Edition Allez Sprint X1 has shorter chainstays creating an extremely stiff and rigid rear triangle. But it goes beyond just pure stiffness the hydroformed tube shapes have also been aerodynamically optimized to slice through the wind. Thanks to the uniquely manipulated tube designs the Specialized Edition Allez Sprint X1 can save you 1.3 meters in the final 200 meters of a sprint—more than enough for a proper victory celebration.
