But what was all too hard for the other outlets, the amazing staff at Specialised Bikes solved … seemingly effortlessly and in short order in their big airy well-stocked shop. Bosworth Field Battle Site (1485 AD) is very worth going to one way or another, if you have any interest in history (English Wars of the Roses, Plantagenet King Richard III, Heritage Centre & cafe, picnic area) or would like a day out with a rural ride and woodland battlefield trail walk. The ride to Bosworth Field is pleasant through rolling green countryside and quaint villages (except for the nerve-shredding main roads in and out of Leicester!). You mustn’t tell the Specialized shop management, but on one downhill stretch I furiously pedalled their very fancy, excellently maintained bike up to a blistering 25 miles (40km) per hour! And checked I got back safely in the early evening. Great guys! My only ‘complaint’ is that it has come to my attention that the staff have not yet themselves e-biked it over to BOSWORTH FIELD (1485). I would like to suggest the shop is closed once a year and all the staff need to walk, er I mean ‘e-bike the tork’! ???? A big thank you to all at Specialized Leicester for making my long-anticipated special day great! ????♀️"

"Superb service from start to finish (with particularly thanks to Dom). I had them build a dream bike for me - a Specialized SL9 with a SRAM Red groupset and Scope wheels. They went the extra mile to source one of the only frames in my size in the country, obtained all the components quickly and efficiently and the quality of the build is wonderful. The bike runs unbelievably smoothly. They were responsive to all my questions and were able to translate my existing bike sizing onto the new set up using their Retuul jig. I really couldn’t ask for more."

"Picked up a new Tarmac road bike last weekend for my son. From ordering the bike, selecting the components and having the bike built up the service from the Harrogate Specialized Concept Store was excellent. There were regular communications so I knew what was happening and when and there was real attention to detail (e.g. help selecting the components such as bottle cages, bar tape etc). When an element of the built came under budget the shop passed on the saving. It was just a few pounds but it felt like they were really looking after me as a customer. A few rides in and according to my son the bike rides like a dream. Great shop and great customer service."

Well hi spezialized harrogate... ive been cycling road and mountain bikes all my life now 39 and I can honestly say out of all the chain shops like halfords and independent bike repair shops and self employed bike mechanics after bringing my now 4th bike to you within 7 days !!! You've been amazingly hospital to me and your hospitality is beyond my expectations and past experiences, each bike has been serviced and set up professionally and extremely reasonably priced also and the main last thing to note is the staff - Simon who's a cracking guy initially consulted me and booked me in... , then there's Sheldon and Olly the mechanics who's been exceptional with me and to my Spezialized stumpjumper and my Trek marlin 6, Apollo phaze making them now run like clockwork ???????? my carrera is now in with you ???? , you lot a are breath of fresh air and my gratitude is beyond words for how you have looked after me and its safe to say you will now see me quite often, and also recommend you to anyone and everyone.... seriously keep up the AWESOME WORK AND STANDARDS AND THE SHOP IS FANTASTIC ???? "On the afternoon before a ride from Nottingham to Skegness, my partner asked me to look over her bike. The back wheel wasn't rotating very freely and a closer inspection revealed no usable back brakes! I called Specialised who had some in stock, and with a quick check with the workshop, they even had a wonderful mechanic Pete, who was happy to fix them for us while we waited. What a wonderful service from all the staff. The cycle to Skegness had been saved and she had a great ride, all thanks to Specialized staff in Nottingham."

"Bought a second hand Sirrus online which had a slight crankset issue, emailed the store for advice and they really sorted me out. Next day response! They gave me loads of advice on what to do, but actually offered to give me some parts from their spares bin for free! Saving me £100+ and a load of hassle. Popped over from Manchester and collected it and the team were super helpful and friendly. Got the part I needed, took it home and fitted it myself and now have an amazing Sirrus ready to ride. It was so nice for my brand loyalty to be noticed, and to get support from Specialized even when I didn't buy my Sirrus directly from them. When one of my 3 Allez road bikes or my new Sirrus next need some work, I will definitely be bringing them back to Chester. Would love a store in Manchester though!"

"Outstanding customer service from Specialized, Chester. I bought a Turbo Levo 2 yrs ago from this shop. It’s a fantastic bike but it’s fair to say that it’s had a few reliability issues. However, I’ve been so incredibly impressed with Dave’s calm, efficient and professional approach to solving every problem. He is an absolutely fantastic mechanic and his knowledge, experience and friendly manner just put you at ease as soon as you hand your bike over to him. I couldn’t recommend the team at the Chester Specialized Concept store highly enough. If you’re in the market for a new bike, get yourself over there and know that you and your bike will be looked after so well! ???? **Update July 2026** I have continued to receive consistently excellent service from this shop and would like to thank Aaron in the workshop for going over and above to get my bike running perfectly while I waited.
