These wheels are engineered with features that prioritise your performance; staying true after launching off drops, light enough for efficient climbs, and enduring resistance. The rim incorporates a continuous fibre layup across the sidewall and rim bed, courtesy of our Zero Bead Hook design. With a substantial 30-millimeter internal rim width, you experience outstanding wheel resilience, low rolling resistance, and unparalleled traction. Furthermore, these features also counter the issue of "burping" during hard cornering, while making the tubeless set-up straightforward.
We have also taken into consideration usability to enhance your overall cycling experience. Our newly engineered hub design features a wider profile and higher flange for augmented overall stiffness and exemplary ride performance. A wider rim provides utmost confidence and grip, along with provisions to run at lower pressures that optimally disseminate impact, thus reducing the possibility of damage. Combined with the lively and agile 27.5 platform, this results in an exceptionally stiff, quick-to-accelerate wheelset that performs well for climbs and descent descents alike.
In keeping with our design philosophy of a trail perfect rim, the wheels are hand-laced to the DT Swiss 350 Classic hubs via 28 DT Swiss Competition Race spokes and brass Pro Lock nipples. Inside, the wheels have sealed cartridge bearings and a 36t quick engagement ratchet system for rapid accelerations. The wheelset is delivered to you with a SRAM XD driver 11-speed freehub and a tubeless valve stem, for your convenience in setting up a tubeless tyre. *Shimano freehubs are sold separately.
