I’m interested in this bike but unsure of sizing. I’m 5,9. Would I need a medium or large. Also what is the weight of this bike pls.
Hi Andy,
Thank you for your recent enquiry.
Size charts are a guide and at 5`9" you are a medium or just inside the large range, I would suggest a visit to a store with stock to try both for size as it will come down to how you as a rider feel on the bike.
Some customers prefer the bike to feel a bit more nimble and agile so a medium will be better, others prefer a more stable feel and a large would suit, it also depends on a customers individual body shape, arm, torso and leg length etc.
If you have to decide due to purchasing on the internet then I would probably go with medium although the final decision will be yours to make, as I cannot see you on the bike it is difficult to give you a confirmed answer.
Unfortuntaley Specialized normally do not publish weights for their individual bikes, if you do visit a shop with stock they should be able to weigh the bike for you, I would say it`s in the region of around 19kg.
Hope this helkps a littlwe.
Kind REgards
Ian

Evan Jones
Hi. What is the motor torque please? Also is a range extender available? Do you have in store in XL? Thanks
nottingham-store
Hi Evan,
The torque of the SL 1.1 motor is 35Nm. We don't have this bike in our store, it is at Bristol and Plymouth. Range Extenders are available for all SL bikes, they are £340 for the battery, and the Levo SL gen1 requires a 160mm cable at £30.
Many thanks,
Wayne
