Built to do battle on the cyclocross course, the S-Works CruX frameset is a truly fearsome weapon.

Made with FACT 11r carbon fibre and featuring flat disc brake mounts and an S-Works carbon seatpost, the frameset is poised to be built up exactly as you'd like. We built the foundations, you just need to add the decoration'.

We developed our Rider-First Engineered technology for our line of elite road bikes, but it's employed to great effect here too. Across all frames, the tubes and carbon lay-ups are specific to the size, ensuring you experience the same amazing ride quality, regardless of whether you ride a 48 or a 63.

Not only does it guarantee consistent performance, Rider-First also helps us shave weight from the frame, with the CruX tipping the scales at just 900g, a staggering 400g less than the previous iteration.

To boost compliance, an essential element of an excellent cyclocross frame, we dropped the seat post collar by 2cm, exposing more of the seat post and allowing it to take more of the shock on those big thumps and bumps that always seem to happen in cross. Other CX-friendly features include a large opening to the front triangle and a flat bottom on the top tube. A low bottom bracket and the sharp front end mean the S-Works CruX can attack every corner with relish and ease.

We included 8mm of clearance on all sides of a 33cm tyre, allowing you to run big rubber, without gathering unwanted mud along the way because what good is one of the world's lightest cyclocross bikes if it's coated in 5kg of mud Along with that massive clearance, the CruX also employs hydrophobic paint, making it harder for mud to stick to the frame.
