The S-Works Venge ViAS Disc was subject to extensive testing in our Win Tunnel during which every tube and trailing edge was optimised for speed. To ensure every rider gets the full benefit out of the aerodynamic characteristics, the frame is Rider-First Engineered so that its properties are consistent no matter the frame size. This new Venge ViAS is so stiff at the front-end that it exceeds the Tarmac by a staggering 30%.

Staying at the front-end, the area which leads the way through the wind, we swapped the traditional stem and bar combo for our aero ViAS setup. The old style cockpit just causes too much drag whereas the ViAS interface with its negative 17-degree stem and Aerofly bars maintains the optimum riding position and achieves a greatly reduced drag effect. It also means that the bike has barely any visible cables, so it looks the business.

Everyone knows that power meters are the ultimate training and racing aid, and with that in mind, we've equipped the S-Works Venge ViAS Disc with our light, stiff carbon fibre S-Works cranks complete with dual-sided power measurement. With independent strain gauges on each crank, you get both total power and power-per-leg readings. You'll also get unidirectional power measurement and on-board temperature compensation so that your readings are accurate to within 1%.

The Venge frame was born from a desire to marry the undeniable stopping power of disc brakes with un-compromised aerodynamic design. Naturally, it's to be expected then that the hydraulic braking system is seamlessly integrated into the build, complemented by a whole host of top-of-the-line performance components. The frame is equipped with a Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset and our fast-rolling carbon Roval CLX 64 wheelset for the best of reliability and power.
